Papa John’s Moving To New Location

(BEDFORD) – Papa John’s will be moving to 16th and O streets in Bedford, opening around August 1.

According to city officials, Dominos Pizza was to move to that location; however, negations in the asking price of the property of $70,000 fell through. Dominos wanted to purchase the property for $50,000 back in November 2018. The two parties could not reach an agreement; so the owners sold the property to Papa John’s.

Papa John’s Director of Operations Jamie Cartwright stated that the lease for their establishment in JayC Plaza is up for renewal.
“We tried to get some of the features our new store will have, but could not reach an agreement with the Kroger Company,” she added. “Therefore, we purchased the property at 16th and O streets. We are excited to be moving into a new location. Our employees will have a larger space to work in, and customers will have a couple more features that will include a drive-through and parking area.”

The company is hoping to have the new location up and running by August 1.
“We cannot wait to be able to start the new school year at our new location,” Cartwright added.
