Nabb Man In Critical Condition After Shot In Face

(NABB) – A 39-year-old was shot in Nabb on Tuesday night and remains in critical condition.


On Tuesday evening at approximately 2 a.m., the Clark County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a potential stabbing in the 21000 block of State Road 362 in Nabb, which is southeast of Scottsburg.
Upon arriving on the scene they found that 38-year-old Christopher Hammill had suffered a gunshot injury below his right eye.
The shooting occurred at Hammill’s residence and reported to police by a family member.
Hammill was transported to the University of Louisville, where he is listed in critical condition.
Three suspects were located and apprehended in Tennessee, at approximately 11:30 a.m., after law enforcement sent out an “attempt to locate” to law enforcement agencies across the country.
Police say no information pertaining to the suspect(s) and/or reason for the shooting can be released at this time, as the investigation is ongoing.
