Jasper Memorial Service Location Change Due To Expected Inclement Weather Today

(JASPER) – Due to expected inclement weather, there have been several changes to the Annual Indiana State Police Jasper District Memorial Service.

Indiana State Police troopers will pay homage to those Indiana State Police employees who have given their lives in the line of duty while serving the citizens of Indiana today at 11 a.m. A total of 46 members of the Indiana State Police have died in the line of duty since the department’s inception in 1933.
The event will be held at the Indiana National Guard Armory, 1481 Bartley Street, Jasper, IN 47546.
Meal and fellowship with be at the Jasper State Police Post following the memorial service.
Those attending are expected to park on the paved portion of the parking lot or along the street curb.
The memorial service should around 30 minutes.
