ISP Arrest Two On Meth Charges In Spencer

(SPENCER) – Over the weekend, Indiana State Police Master Trooper Lytton and Trooper Giesler conducted a traffic stop on a silver, 2004, Chevrolet passenger car on US 231 near I-64 for speeding.


They arrested the driver 40-year-old Janet Duran, of Grandview and her passenger 30-year-old Corderro Sanders, of Evansville.
During the traffic stop, troopers became suspicious of potential drug activity. They requested Trooper Kaitlyn Greene and her K-9 partner Drogos to see if drugs were in the vehicle.

K-9 Drogos alerted his handler there were drugs in the vehicle. Troopers searched the car and found a large amount of suspected meth among other drug items.
Sanders and Duran were both arrested and the Spencer County Jail for the following charges:

Janet Duran is facing felony charges of dealing meth, possession of meth about 28 grams and maintaining a common nuisance. She is also facing misdemeanor charges of possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was also wanted on Vanderburg warrants on a petition to revoke probation, possession of meth, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Corderro Sanders is facing felony charges of dealing meth, possession of meth about 28 grams and maintaining a common nuisance. He is facing misdemeanor charges of possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also arrested on a Vanderburgh County warrant on a charge of a petition to revoke on a charge of possession of cocaine.
