(SPENCER) – Recently, Indiana State Troopers Nathan Kern, Adam McBeth, Trooper Kaitlyn Greene and her partner K-9 Drogos responded to a residence in Richland City in efforts to apprehend Mark A Modlin, 45, who was wanted on several warrants.
Once at the residence, troopers became suspicious that Modlin was hiding after they located a hidden trap door leading to the crawl space.
Trooper Greene deployed K-9 Drogos and Modlin subsequently surrendered without a K-9 bite.
Modlin was incarcerated at the Spencer County Jail on charges of possession of meth, operating a motor vehicle after forfeiture of license for life; operating as a habitual traffic violator, leaving the scene of an accident with serious bodily injury, disorderly conduct, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
