U.S. Postal Service Small Business Symposium, May 7

(INDIANAPOLIS) – The Indianapolis 500 Race will not be the only thrilling event taking place in the Circle City in May. The National Postal Forum, the premier mailing and shipping industry event, comes to the Indianapolis Convention Center, May 5-8.

This year, the U.S. Postal Service is paying special attention to the thousands of small business owners in the Indianapolis area by offering the USPS Small Business Symposium on Tuesday, May 7, 2019, from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. The Symposium takes place at the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown, 350 West Maryland St., Indianapolis, IN 46225.
With the slogan, “Small Businesses are Made in Indy,” the Postal Service is offering this unique symposium for small business owners to have an opportunity to network with local entrepreneurs, small business mentors from SCORE, America’s premier source of free and confidential small business advice, leaders from the Small Business Administration, and experts from USPS and USPS Affiliates.
Expect to be inspired — that’s the message USPS is sending to those attending the symposium. Speakers include Postmaster General Megan Brennan, Greater Indiana District Manager Todd Hawkins with USPS Small Business Director Mary Anderson delivering the closing remarks.
All those attending the symposium will receive limited free access to the National Postal Forum Exhibit Hall and Reception from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Indianapolis Convention Center, which is across the street from the hotel.
