Monroe County YMCAs Will Be Free To Community On Sunday, April 28

(BLOOMINGTON) – Both the Monroe County Southeast YMCA (2125 S. Highland Ave.) and Northwest Y (1375 N. Wellness Way just off of West Vernal Pike) will be free and open to the public all day

This is a great opportunity for the community to see what the Y has to offer.
Our pools will be open for a lap and recreational swimming, court space will be available for basketball and racquetball players, and our Wellness Centers and Weight Rooms are open to getting in a quality workout.
Y facilities will be open during the following hours on April 28 (please note the pools close prior to the facilities closing):
The Southeast Y is open 8 a.m. until 10 p.m.

  • Multipurpose pool closes at 6:30 p.m.
  • Main pool closes at 7 p.m.

The Northwest Y is open 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.

  • Pool closes at 4:30 p.m.

“We hope families and individuals of the Monroe County community can come out and see what the Y is all about,” said Kevin Vail, the membership director of the Monroe County YMCA. “We also encourage current Y members to bring a friend during the event. There is something for everyone at the Y.”
The Y staff will also offer tours of each facility for anyone who is interested. For more information, please visit www.MonroeCountyYMCA.org or Facebook at www.Facebook.com/MonroeCountyYMCA/. Come enjoy your local YMCA!
