(BOSTON, MA) – The Indiana Pacers let another second half lead disappear as the fell to the Boston Celtics 99-91 in Game 2.
Indiana blew an 11-point lead heading into the fourth quarter and were outscored by Boston 31-12 in the final 12 minutes.
Kyrie Iriving led the Celtics with 37 points while Jayson Tatum added 26. Boston shot over 47 percent from the field and out-rebounded Indiana 48-36.
“It’s always been one quarter that kills us in the second half,” Thaddeus Young said. “We’re getting good looks and shots are not falling. We gotta put together a 48-minute game and we haven’t been able to do that.”
Bojan Bogdanovic led the Pacers with 23 points while Young added 15.
Boston is up 2-0 in the best-of-seven series that will switch to Indianapolis for the next two games, starting with Friday night’s Game 3.
