(UNDATED) – There is serious damage at the end of Brooks Bridge, located on Brooks Bridge Road in Martin County.
The Martin County Highway Department says this is their final attempt to ensure motorists do not get too close to the edge of the road.
Cones and markers placed prior have all been stolen.
Should these barricades get removed the highway department will have to take a more serious approach and close the bridge saying they cannot risk the safety of motorists.
