Daniel Ratkovich, 89, of Mitchell, died at 5:35 p.m. on Sunday, March 17, 2019, at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville.
Born December 23, 1929, in Lawrence Co., he was the son of Matt and Mary (Morris) Ratkovich. He married Mary Levena Martindale on July 30, 1955, and she preceded him in death on January 4, 2018. He retired from Indiana
Limestone Co. in Oolitic as a fork truck driver.
Survivors include three children, Ricky Ratkovich, and wife, Janice, of Mitchell, Michael Ratkovich, and wife, Traci and Tina McPike and husband, Robert, all of Bedford; five grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; several step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, eight brothers and sisters.
Funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Thursday, March 21st in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Bro. Marty Speer officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the hour of service on Thursday, March 21st at the Day & Carter Mortuary.

Amelia F. Banks – Bedford

Amelia F. Banks, 85, of Bedford, died at 9 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2019, at Westview Nursing and Rehab.
Born September 4, 1933, in Louisville, KY, she was the daughter of Richard Lee and Catherine Florence (Manning)
Ramsey. She married Mack Banks and he preceded her in death. She was a homemaker. She loved the Lord and was
always singing hymns.
Survivors include her children, Thomas E. Chumley and wife, Wanda, of Elizabethtown, KY, Douglas P. Chumley and wife, Cheryl, of Stafford, VA, Catherine Brown and husband, Robert, of Bedford, Curt E. Chumley and partner, Jamie, of Seymour, David W. Banks, of Bedford, Mack W. Banks, Jr., of Bedford, Daniel L. Banks and wife, Jane, of Bedford; several grandchildren whom she loved very
much.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers, Richard L. Ramsey, Jr., Merle Ramsey and Sammy Ramsey; a sister, Starlynne Ramsey.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 21st in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Richard Tallman officiating. Burial will follow in Springville Cemetery West. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.

George Edward “Ed” Pritchett – Judah

Ed Pritchett, 56, of Judah, passed away Friday evening in Bedford.
Born September 16, 1962, in Bedford, he was the son of Richard D. and Sylvia (Baker) Pritchett. He attended
Bedford North Lawrence High School, graduating with the class of 1980. He married Kelli Miller on May 29, 1992, and
she survives. Along with his brothers, he was co-owner of Pritchett Brothers Construction.
Survivors include his wife Kelli of Judah; one son Derek Pritchett and wife Schylar of Judah; one daughter Kayla Pritchett of Judah; his mother, Sylvia, of Judah; three brothers, Joe Pritchett and wife Lisa of Judah, Scott Pritchett and wife Donna of Judah, and Jon Pritchett and wife Mary of Judah; his mother-in-law Sandi Miller; sister-
in-law Donna Pritchett of Judah; two brothers-in-law, Lenny Miller and wife Barbara of Oolitic, and Troy Miller
and wife Holly of Williams; several nieces and nephews.
Ed was preceded in death by his father, Richard, one brother, Ronald D. Pritchett, and his father-in-law Dean
Miller.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 20th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Tracy Killinger officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that friends consider memorial contributions to the MS Society.

Jeremy “Jerry” Frederick Jackson – Bedford

Jeremy “Jerry” Frederick Jackson, 73, of Bedford, died at 6:16 p.m. on Friday, March 15, 2019, at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born September 10, 1945, in Bedford, IN he was the son of James Franklin and Helen Maude (Percy) Jackson. He
married Rena Kay Brown, and she survives. He retired as a Master Trooper with the Indiana State Police, retiring
out of the Bloomington Post, formerly serving out of the Evansville Post. He was a veteran of the Army National
Guard and served on the North Lawrence Water Board.
Survivors include his wife Rena of Bedford, one daughter, Kim Jackson Maudlin and her husband Lewis of Bedford,
one son, Jeremy Jackson and his wife Mai-Lin of Bedford, one grandson, Connor Jackson Maudlin.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will host a remembrance with friends Friday, March 22 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Stone City FOP, 94 Stone City Drive, Bedford, IN 47421. Jerry Jackson stories are invited.
