National Weather Service Conduct SKYWARN Severe Weather Spotter Training for Daviess Co. Residents

(WASHINGTON) – The National Weather Service will conduct SKYWARN Severe Weather Spotter Training for Daviess and Know Counties on Wednesday, in Washington.

The training session will be conducted from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the second-floor training room of the Daviess County Security Center at 101 NE 4th Street in Washington.
Although SKYWARN spotters provide essential information for all types of weather hazards, the main responsibility of a SKYWARN spotter is to identify and describe severe local storms.
