(BLOOMINGTON) – Bloomington Police and the Monroe County Coroner’s Officer are investigating the death of a man whose body was found on Thursday in a wooded area in the 1500 block of South Rogers Street.
Police officers found the body that could be seen from the sidewalk at the edge of the woods at 1:30 p.m. across from the Community Kitchen of Monroe County
Monroe County Coroner Joani Shields says the body has been identified at 29-year-old Brett Wagner of Bloomington.
An autopsy was conducted this morning in Terre Haute to determine the cause of death. Authorities do not suspect foul play.
