Indiana Hunter Education Offered In Loogootee

(LOOGOOTEE) – An Indiana Hunter Education course will be held a the Faith Baptist Church located at 205 East Main Street in Loogootee.

The classes will be held Thursday, March 21 from 6 p.m. until 9:30 p.m.; Friday, March 22 from 6 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. and on Saturday, March, 23 from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
There is no charge to attend the class which is being sponsored by Faith Baptist Church and West Boggs Park.
You must attend all three to complete the course.
Those attending will learn about wildlife conservation, hunter ethics, firearm safety, shotguns, rifles, archery and survival skills.
All instruction will be by Indiana Conservation officers and certified Indiana Volunteer Hunter Education instructors.
Hunter Education certification is required for all persons born after December 1, 1986, who wish to purchase an Indiana hunting license.
