(ORLEANS) – An Orleans man died in a crash early Saturday morning on County Road 640.
According to Indiana State Police, 50-year-old Thomas Oldham, died when his vehicle left the roadway, traveled 20 yards, and struck a tree.
Officers were alerted after receiving a 911 call at the Orange County Sheriff’s Department just after midnight about the accident on County Road 640, just south of County Road 100 West.
Oldham died at the scene.
Troopers say speed was a factor in the accident.
