Braydon Crowder Winner Of 2019 Orange County Publishing Great Spelling Bee

(PAOLI) – Congratulations to Braydon Crowder, a Paoli seventh grader, for winning the 2019 Orange County Publishing Great Spelling Bee.


The event was held Sunday at the Ruth Farlow Uyesugi Auditorium at Paoli Junior-Senior High School.
Twenty-four young men and women competed in the spelling bee.
In May, Braydon will represent Orange County at the Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington, D.C. He will receive a six-night stay for the national event, with all travel, lodging and incidental costs paid.
He also received access to Britannica Online Premium and Merriam-Webster Unabridged Online and the Samuel Louis Sugarman Award with 2019 United States Mint proof set.
Cameron Apple placed second, and Jason Beavers took third place. They are also Paoli seventh grade students.
Cameron received Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary, Eleventh Edition.
