Martinsville Man Arrested On Child Pornography And Drug Charges

(MARTINSVILLE) – Members of the Indiana State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Unit, Cyber Crimes Unit, and the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force executed a search warrant this morning at the residence at 1612 East Harrison Street in Martinsville.

The execution of the search warrant resulted in the arrest of Shandy C. Freeman, 40, on four Leve 6 felony charges of possession of child pornography, a Level 6 felony count of possession of meth, one misdemeanor count of possession of marijuana. He is currently being held in the Morgan County Jail without bond.
ICAC Task Force Members included lead investigator ISP Detective Kevin Getz, Martinsville Police Department Deputy Chief Lachelle Maurer, and Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department Detective Kurt Spivey.
