Reservations Due Friday For Indiana Pork Conference In Montgomery

(MONTGOMERY) – The deadline to register for the 9th Annual Southern Indiana Pork Conference is Friday.

The conference is being put on by Purdue Extension and Indiana Pork and is scheduled for February 15th at the Gasthoff in Montgomery from 10:30 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Luis Santiago is the Purdue Extension Educator for Daviess County and one of the conference organizers. He says the goal is to bring together pork producers, academics, veterinarians, and others in the pork business to talk about key industry issues. Topics will focus on livestock regulations as well as updates on animal health, swine reproductive practices, and current swine research.
Conference attendance and lunch are free, but again reservations are required by this Friday.
The Pork Quality Assurance Certification will be offered and registration is required for that and you must register by February 8th for that as well.
Conference attendance and lunch are free courtesy of Indiana Pork, but reservations are required by February 8, by registering online or by calling Stephanie Morris, Indiana Pork, at 317-872-7500.
