Roly Poly Sandwich Employee Arrested After Threatening Co-Workers With Butcher Knife

(BLOOMINGTON) – A Bloomington man was arrested after he hit a co-worker at Roly Poly Sandwiches, stole money from the store’s tip jar and threatened other employees with a butcher knife.


Bloomington Police officers arrested 36-year-old Ean Busby on Thursday on charges of intimidation with a deadly weapon, battery, and theft.
Police arrived were called to the sandwich shop on West Third Street at 11:30 a.m.
An employee told police Busby had recently broken up with his girlfriend, and a co-worker was trying to calm him down. Busby became aggravated during the conversation and told the other employee not to touch him.
According to police Busby hit the employee trying to calm him down in the chin and threw down a knife he was holding. Busby then ran out the door. He returned, stole $10 from the tip jar and left again.
Officers found Busby near Wheeler Mission Center for Men and arrested him.
