Pacers Wrap Up Road Trip With Win

(NEW ORLEANS, LA) – The Pacers finished off their four-game road trip with a narrow 109-107 win over the New Orleans Pelicans to earn a split over the four games.

Darren Collison led Indiana with 22 points and six assists while Domantas Sabonis had a 16 point and 13 rebound double-double off the bench.
Despite being without All-Star big man Anthony Davis, the Pelicans made the Pacers sweat the game out until the very end as Jahlil Okafor scored a game-high 25 points to go with 13 rebounds while Jrue Holiday, brother of Pacers guard Aaron Holiday, added 19 points and 11 boards.
“Collison is capable of having performances like the one he had tonight on a regular basis,” coach Nate McMillan said. “He made some big shots tonight and he is the guy we’ve gone to as far as late in games, putting the ball in his hands.”
The Pacers have a quick turnaround to get ready for a six-game homestand as they host LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers tonight at 7pm EST.
