Boilermakers Winning Streak Continues

(WEST LAFAYETTE, IN) – The 17th-ranked Purdue Boilermakers ran their winning streak to seven games as they topped Minnesota 73-63.


Carsen Edwards continued his stellar season as he scored 15 of his 17 points in the second half while Trevion Williams finished with 16 and Ryan Cline came off the bench to add 15 points and eight rebounds.
The Boilermakers shot over 47-percent from the field and forced the Golden Gophers into 10 turnovers. Minnesota’s Amir Coffey led all scorers with a game-high 22 points while teammate Daniel Oturu scored 19 off the bench.
Purdue trailed by a point at halftime but turned up the offense in the second half, outscoring Minnesota 46-35.
The Boilermakers move to 16-6 on the season and are 9-2 in Big Ten conference play. They host Nebraska on Saturday.
