Lawrence County GOP Announces Calender Of Events Leading Up To Election

(BEDFORD) – The Lawrence County Republican Party is excited to announce their 2019 calendar leading up to the May 7th Primary Election.


Forums
A Bedford City Council Forum is set for Feb. 21 in Brinegar Hall at StoneGate Arts & Education Center.
A Bedford City Mayoral Forum is set for March 21 in Brinegar Hall at StoneGate Arts & Education Center and will feature the Republican candidates for the Bedford mayoral race.
At both forums, there will be a candidate social from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m. with refreshments provided by the Republican Women’s Club. A question-and-answer session will follow at 6 p.m.
Moderators for the forums are Myron Rainey, representing WBIW, and Krystal Shetler, representing the Times-Mail. The Star Station will record the event with Hamilton Systems providing the sound.
Tickets will be sold in advance of each forum for $5 each. All proceeds will benefit the Stone City Fraternal Order of Police Shop with a Cop program. To purchase tickets, contact participating candidates or send an email LawCoGOP@gmail.com.
Mitchell Election
The Republican party is planning a meet-and-greet session for the GOP candidates in Mitchell. Details will be announced at a later date.
Lincoln Day Dinner
The party will have its annual Lincoln Day Dinner April 12 at the Bedford National Guard Armory. Dinner and music begin at 6 p.m., with featured speaker Rep. Trey Hollingsworth, R-Indiana, speaking at 7 p.m.
