(SPRINGS VALLEY) – Indiana State Police say a Springs Valley High School Teacher charged with possession of child pornography is now facing an additional charge of child seduction.
The Orange County Prosecutor filed the felony charge against 42-year-old Kari Buchanan of West Baden Springs based on additional evidence State Police gathered last week allegedly showing Buchanan was having inappropriate communications with a male Springs Valley student.
Buchanan who was a health and physical education teacher at Springs Valley Jr./Sr. High School turned herself in last Friday morning after a warrant was issued for her arrest. She has since resigned from her position.
