  • 8:15 a.m. Animal control requested to the 400 block of South Meridian Road because someone in a red van had stolen his Yorkie mix named Otis. Police say the dog was recovered in the 410 blocks of Kelly Street and taken back to the owner

  • 8:55 a.m. A person at the cemetery building on 14th Street wants to speak to an officer about threats

  • 1:11 p.m. Lift assist in the 190 block of South Leatherwood Road. A man needs help getting in his truck

  • 1:50 p.m. Medical emergency in the 1250 block of Sevens Street. Adult Protective Services were alerted

  • 3:09 p.m. Request for animal control to the 360 block of Grand View Road. The caller says the elderly female lives alone, her son is in jail and she can not care for the dog. The woman says her other son with help her care for the dog. The dog did have food and water and fresh straw. If the woman needs help she will call animal control
  • 3:09 p.m. A female was on station to report harassment and cyber bulling to her 12-year-old granddaughter, by several children at Shawswick School
  • 3:16 p.m. Report of a black bumper in the roadway on State Road 37 at AppleAcres
  • 3:45 p.m. Traffic stop at South Sixth and W streets
  • 3:49 p.m. Theft of $13 in fuel from Farmers Market on US 50 East. The person is in a red full size flatbed truck
  • 3:58 p.m. Request for animal control in the 520 block of Reynolds Lane for a dog running loose and being aggressive
  • 4:02 p.m. Request for animal control to the 7020 block of State Road 60 West to check on a donkey without shelter. The animal had shelter
  • 4:05 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 at Chicago Pizza
  • 4:13 p.m. Traffic stop at Teke Burton Drive and Main Street
  • 4:13 p.m. Unwanted person at an apartment at Elm Park I. A person was arrested
  • 4:16 p.m. Animal control was requested to the 11820 block of Tunnelton Road for a stray Great Dane
  • 4:30 p.m. Request for animal control to the 700 block of Reuter Lane for a St. Bernard outside with inadequate shelter. The owner was contacted and something will be done. At 7:05 p.m. the dog was still outside. Animal control says the dog is aggressive and will have to be tranquilized to be moved. Animal control left the dog and will check on it in the morning and with the owner
  • 4:52 p.m. Report of a suspicious male in a black Chevrolet SUV at South 11th and Orchard Street at the park
  • 5:11 p.m. A resident in the 950 block of Trinton Circle reported about a year ago someone had dropped off their vehicle to have it worked on and just now he is getting around to do the work and is unable to make contact with the owner
  • 6:02 p.m. Medical emergency in the 9330 block of Tunnelton Road. A 72-year-old female having trouble breathing
  • 6:09 p.m. Request for animal control to the 3470 block of Sunset Lane for two dogs in a fenced in enclosure outside that will not stop barking. The dogs were fine
  • 6:38 p.m. Alarm sounding in the 8770 block of US 50 West
  • 6:51 p.m. A resident in the 1010 block of South 9th Street reported their 17-year-old daughter is causing a disturbance, possibly in drugs
  • 6:58 p.m. Lift assist needed in the 190 block of South Leatherwood Road. A male needed help from his truck to his house
  • 7:34 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37, north of Stevens Lane
  • 7:35 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Motocross Road
  • 7:55 p.m. Traffic stop at North 8th Street and Bishop Boulevard
  • 8:29 p.m. Unwanted male at a home in the 270 block of Trogdon Lane
  • 8:46 p.m. Traffic stop at Seventh and I streets
  • 9:30 p.m. Requst for animal control to the 90 block of North Pike Road for a dog tied outside in the cold weather
  • 9:39 p.m. 911 call from a female in the 8470 block of Old State Road 37 reporting she returned home to find her front door open

  • 12:33 a.m. Medical emergency in the 300 block of Burton Cemetery Road for a male exposed to the bitter cold. He was found with a bottle of pills in the roadway
  • 1:36 a.m. Alarm sounding at Crossroads Church
  • 1:59 a.m. Medical emergency in the 30 block of at Northside Village. A 71-year-old male fell
