Colts Hire Offensive Line, Tight Ends Coaches

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) – The Colts and head coach Frank Reich filled a pair of vacancies on Tuesday as the team announced Chris Strausser will be their offensive line coach and James Michael will be tight ends coach.

Strausser replaces Dave DeGuglielmo, who was hired when the Colts believed Josh McDaniels was going to be their next head coach.
Despite staying on board after McDaniels bailed and turning one of the league’s worst offensive lines into one of the league’s best, DeGuglielmo was relieved of his duties at the end of the season because Reich said he preferred to make his own hire at the position.
Strausser spent last season with the Broncos. Michael was the tight ends coach for the Cardinals last season and spent the previous four with the Titans. He and Frank Reich were on the Chargers staff in 2013.
