(BLOOMINGTON) – A Bloomington man was arrested Tuesday after he allegedly sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl.
Bloomington Police arrested 40-year-old Bennie Brantley Jr., on charges of sexual misconduct with a child.
Brantley was arrested after the girl called Bloomington Police officers Monday to report her mother’s boyfriend had touched her inappropriately while the two were alone at home.
During one of the incidents, the two were watching a movie in Brantley’s bedroom. The girl told police Brantley had asked is he could massage her feet. He then massaged her back and started touching her buttocks and then put his hand down her shorts.
Police say Brantley did admit to giving the girl a massage. And he may have accidentally touched her bra or private area while doing so.
