Bedford – Norma Joyce Craig Corbin, 89, of Bedford, died at 8:50 pm on Wednesday, November 7, 2018, at White River Lodge.
Born July 2, 1929, in Bryantsville, IN, she was the daughter of Dewey S. and Olive (Atchison) Patton. She married Emil A. Craig on January 6, 1949, in Huron and he preceded her in death in 1964. She later married Kenneth E. Corbin in 1966 and he preceded her in death in 1982. She was a homemaker and member of the First Church of God in Bedford.
Survivors include one son, Kevin D. Craig, and wife, Polly, of Bedford; two daughters-in-law, Darla Craig of OH and Debbie Craig, of Bedford; a step-son, Randy Corbin and wife, Karen, of Heltonville; a sister-in-law, Annabelle
Patton of TN; five grandchildren, Travis Craig, Melinda Smith and husband, Michael, Trevor Craig and wife, Melinda, Patrick Craig and wife, Mandy, and Kara Jo Hohimer and husband, Eric; two step-grandsons; nine great-grandchildren; a cousin, Don Terry; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands; two sons, Patrick, and Jerry Craig; a sister, Phyllis Ann Patton; two brothers, David Lee Patton and Dewey Patton, Jr.; a sister-in-law, Dana Craig; a step-daughter, Phyllis Ann Holt; a granddaughter, Megan L. Neal; a grandson, Matthew Craig.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 11th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Reno Bates officiating. Burial will follow in Hilltop Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday, November 10th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.

Cody Dale Sowders – Bedford

Cody Dale Sowders, 34, of Bedford, died Wednesday, November 7, 2018, at his residence.
Born September 10, 1984, he was the son of Terry Dale Sowders and Connie Renee Lawyer. He was a construction laborer.
Survivors include two sons, Logan Lee Sowders and Wyatt Alan Sowders; a brother, Chase Lawyer and husband, Austen, of Bedford; two sisters, Chelsie Leatherman, and husband, Nathan, of Pine Village, IN and Rachelle Burnette and husband, Robert, of Springville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two siblings, Rhonda Reeves, and Brian Sowders; his step-father, Roger Lawyer.
No services are scheduled.
