October 10, 1978 – October 22, 2018
Bradley J. Harder Jr., 40, of Shoals passed away Monday, October 22, 2018, near his residence in Martin County.
He was born October 10, 1978, in Bedford to Bradley and Connie (Wininger) Harder Sr. He married Amber May on April 8, 2000, at the Shoals Holiness Church. He was a graduate of Immanuel Missionary School, attended the Shoals Holiness Church and was employed by Foster Home Improvements in Washington. He was a dedicated husband, father, and friend, always willing to help anyone in need and shared his love of hunting and fishing with his children.
He is survived by his wife Amber; father and mother, Bradley and Connie Harder of Shoals; two daughters, Jocelyn and Ruby; two sons, Travin and Garrett; one sister, Charmaine Harder of Mitchell, South Dakota; mother-in-law, Leah (William) Edwards of West Baden Springs; father-in-law, Tim (Gale) May of Loogootee and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the Queen-Lee Chapel in Shoals with Rev. Mark Hamaker officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home.

Earl “Gene” Perry
December 6, 1935 – October 21, 2018
Earl “Gene” Perry, 82, of Bedford, passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2018, at his residence.
Born December 6, 1935, in Lawrence County, Indiana, he was the son of William and Ollie (Cobb) Perry.
He married Linda Roberts on June 6, 1959; she passed away on June 23, 2011.
Gene was a retired construction worker and painter. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during the Korean War; DAV member and a member of the Oolitic Pentecostal Church.
He is survived by two sons, Kevin Perry of Greenwood, Indiana and William ( Barbara) Perry of Springville, Indiana; two grandsons, Zachary and Jacob Perry; brother, Larry Perry of Oolitic, Indiana; two sisters, Lucy Mitchell of Oolitic, Indiana and Edna Whitaker of Columbia, South Carolina; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Linda; two sons, Joseph Perry and Kyle Perry; three brothers, John, Charles and Burchell Perry; two sisters, Sally Roth and Irene Stewart.
Funeral service will be on Saturday, October 27, 2018, at 11:00 AM at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes, with Pastor Keith Thompson and Pastor Marty Speer officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery. Military rites will be accorded by American Legion Gillen Post #33. Visitation will be on Friday, 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
