Brent Duane Leonard, 61, of Orleans, passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2018, at Indiana University Health Bedford Hospital.
Born April 21, 1957, in Lawrence County, he was the son of Carl and Evelyn (Garrison) Leonard. He was married to Kimberly J. Kendall.
Brent was a truck driver and loved golfing, fishing, and hunting. He was a member of the Work of God Church.
Survivors include his wife, Kimberly Leonard of Mitchell; children, Andrea (Shane) Phillips of Springville, Carl (Susan) Leonard of Mitchell, Seth (Casey) Leonard of Orleans, Sara Leonard of Madison, Abby Leonard of Mitchell; mother, Evelyn Leonard of Bedford; stepsons, Matt (Kristen) Woods of Springville; Chris (Brandi) Woods of Bedford; 8 grandchildren; 5 step grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brothers, Bill (Ann) Leonard of Orleans; Brad (Marty) Leonard of Bedford; several nieces and nephews
His father and grandson, Hayden Leonard, preceded him in death.
A celebration of Life will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, September 9, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Pastor Dwight Dunbar officiating. Cremation will follow. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until the service on Sunday at the funeral home.
