Charles J. Tincher, 87, of Bedford, died Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital.
Born April 23, 1930 in Oolitic, he was the son of Charles F. and Cilia (Asdel) Tincher. He married Edith L. Beasley on
March 22, 1969 and she survives. He was a graduate of Fayetteville High School. He retired after twenty-nine
years as a maintenance man at Westinghouse. He was a member of the Bedford Baptist Temple, AARP, American
Patriot Lodge #750 F & AM of Oolitic and Local #2031. Survivors include his wife, Edith, of Bedford; two sons,
Michael Tincher and wife, Lovie, of Cedar Lake, IN, Robert Miller and wife, Kay, of Bedford; several grandchildren. He
was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Kathryn Shelton.
Private services were conducted with Pastor Lyman C. Taylor officiating. Burial was in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction of the Day & Carter Mortuary.
