Larry Ronald Tackett – Mitchell
Larry Ronald Tackett, 75, formerly of Huron, passed away Monday, June 5, 2017, at his residence.
Born August 27, 1941, in Huron, he was the son of Menlo and Pauline (Toliver) Tackett. He retired from Carpenter Body Works with 32 years of service and had also been employed at U. S. Gypsum in Shoals. Larry graduated in 1962 from Huron High School and was a member of the Huron Baptist Church and the Southern Indiana Cherokee Council. He was a U. S. Army veteran.
Surviving: son, Christopher (Lisa) Tackett of Mitchell; grandchildren, Zhain Tackett and Darian Tackett Morales; sister, Barbara Mundy of Mitchell
His parents; children, Jamie Tackett and Larry Paul Tackett; and brother, John Tackett, preceded him in death.
Cremation was chosen with a family gathering at the Huron Cemetery at a later date.

Madge (Watterson) Reynolds, of Mitchell, passed away Tuesday at her residence.

Steven Ray Crane – Mitchell
April 14, 1958 – June 5, 2017
Steven Ray Crane, 59, of Mitchell, passed away on Monday, June 5, 2017 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born April 14, 1958 in Fort Belvoir, Virginia, he was the son of Leland and Norma (Bever) Crane. He had lived in Washington D.C., Virginia, Florida, Hawaii, Azores, Spain, and Morocco. Steven attended Bedford North Lawrence High School.
He was survived by his father, Leland Crane, of Bedford, and brother, Russell Crane, of Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by his mother; sister, Susan; paternal grandparents, Ray and Wilma Crane; and maternal grandparents, Claude and Vivian Bever.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m.. Thursday at Fairview Cemetery, with Pastor Phil Thorne officiating.
