Ashley Marie Hughes, 21, of Bloomington, died at 6 p.m. on Friday, August 19, 2016 at her residence.
Born December 30, 1994 in Bedford, IN, she was the daughter of Bryan Hughes and Teresa Roberts. She was a graduate of Mitchell High School with the class of 2013, and was currently attending Indiana University.
Survivors include her mother, Teresa Roberts of Mitchell; her father, Bryan Hughes of Bedford; one sister, Ariel Popo of Tennessee; grandmother, Marilou Craig of Bedford; grandmother, Merle Hughes; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her fiancé, Parker Curtis, her grandfathers, Lowell Roberts, Kenneth Joe Craig, Thomas Hughes, and Walter Cook; her grandmother, Lena Cook; great grandmother, Josephine Hughes; great grandfather Cecil Hughes.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, August 24th 2016 in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 10 am until 2 pm on Wednesday, August 24th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
