Ronald Wayne Acuff – Bedford
September 6, 1935 – March 15, 2016
Ronald Wayne Acuff, 80, of Bedford, died at 7:40 .m. on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Stonebridge Health Campus.
Born September 6, 1935 in Cincinnati, OH, he was the son of Grover Cleveland “Cleve” Acuff and Dessie (Noe) DeHof. He married Margaret Conover on February 1, 1957 and she survives. He was the Assistant Recreation Director for 19 years in Evendale, Ohio. He later worked at TPC Golf Course in Scottsdale, AZ.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret, of Bedford; five children, Curtis Acuff and wife, Mary, of French Lick, IN, Teresa Pineda and husband, Miguel, of Surprise, AZ, Debora Freese and husband, Gary, Rhonda Andersen and husband, Rick, all of Cave Creek, AZ, Seth Acuff of Surprise, AZ; grandchildren, Celeste Dahmer and husband, Adam, of Jasper, IN, Adamas, Ammon and Aerienne Acuff, all of French Lick, IN, Tanner Branham and wife, Tiffany, of Mt. Sterling, KY, Trey Branham, Tessa and Tyler Pineda, all of Surprize, AZ, Haley Burns of Utah, Max Burns of Cave Creek, AZ, Alex Freese of Denver, CO, Conner Freese of Cave Creek, AZ, Paul Andersen and R.J. Andersen, of Utah, Taylor and Nicole Andersen of Cave Creek, AZ; great grandchildren, Uriah Acuff, Everly Dahmer, Karsyn Branham, Savannah Thomas and Dominic Freese; three brothers, Donald Acuff (his twin) and wife, Cody, Doyle Acuff and wife, Sue, and Larry Acuff and wife, Bobbie, all of Blanchester, OH.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Nathaniel Acuff.
Memorial services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, March 25th at Grace Methodist Church in Blanchester, OH with Pastor Chuck Shonkwiler officiating. Another memorial service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 26th at the Shoals Methodist Church in Shoals, IN with Pastor Joe Seger officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Day & Carter Mortuary.

Floyd W. Brick – Bedford

Rev. Floyd W. Brick, 83, of Bedford, IN, died at 12:07 a.m., Saturday, March 19, 2016 at IU Health in Bedford.
Born March 27, 1932 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, he was the son of Peter and Aurelia Brick. He married Joan C. Mattek on August 5th, 1955 in Sheboygan. He graduated from Fort Wayne Bible College, (now Taylor University) with a degree in Bible and Speech. His three years of graduate studies were completed at Anderson Theological Seminary, Anderson, IN, with a Master of Divinity Degree. He pastored four churches in 37 years of ministry, two in Wisconsin and two in Indiana. He retired in 1997 after pastoring the First Church of God in Bedford for 17 years. A Veteran of the Korean War, he served in the Army and was a member of the U.S. Army Band.
Survivors include his wife Joan of 60 ½ years; two sons, Larry (Phyllis) of Waterford, Wisconsin, and Gary (Danita) of Jasper, IN; six grandchildren, Maegan (Nate) Benzschawel of Milwaukee, WI, Jerrod Brick, Deidra Brick and Marla Brick, all of Waterford WI, Andy (Megan) Brick of Denver, CO, and Caitlyn (Tyler) Browning, of Nashville, TN; one great-grandchild, Jude Brick, of Denver, CO ; two brothers, Leroy Brick of Seattle, WA and James Brick of Orlando, FL; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 23rd at Hillcrest Christian Church with Rev. Charlie Scott and Rev. Lee Brown officiating. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. till 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 22nd at the Day & Carter Mortuary and from 9:30 am until the hour of service on Wednesday, March 23rd at Hillcrest Christian Church.
