Anna L. Miskell, 78, of French Lick, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Mitchell Manor Living and Rehabilitation Center.

Dorothy Jane “Dot” James – Mitchell

Dorothy Jane “Dot” James, 88, of Mitchell, passed away Saturday morning, February 13, 2016, at Indiana University Health Hospice House in Bloomington.
Born May 13, 1927 in Terre Haute, she was the daughter of John I. and Mary (Orem) Rogers. She married George “Corky” James, Jr., December 31, 1945, and he preceded her in death April 14, 2013.
Dot graduated from Garfield High School and retired from RCA. She was a member of the Mitchell Presbyterian Church and participated in the choir and the ladies guild. She was also a Girl Scout leader, and a member of Phi Beta Psi Sorority, and the Prim Priscillas. In recent years she was a Mary Kay consultant.
Survivors include children, Rebecca Ann (Richard) McCloud of Bloomfield, Mary Violet (Mark) Gee of North East, Pennsylvania, George Clark (Brenda) James III of Mitchell; 8 grandchildren; brother, John (Ila) Rogers of Denham Springs, Louisiana
Her parents; husband; infant daughter, Martha; brother, Art Rogers; and granddaughter, Angela Holtsclaw, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 17, at the Mitchell
Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Dr. Daniel Watson officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. till 7 p.m. Tuesday at Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center and from 9:30 a.m. until the service on Wednesday at the church. A memorial service will be conducted by Phi Beta Psi Sorority at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Steven Lynn Evans, 64, of Bedford, passed away at 6:10 p.m. Friday, February 12, 2016, at his residence.
Born November 2, 1951, in Orange County, he was the son of Arthur Elwood Evans and Helen Dale (Young) Parson.Steven was a roofer. He was a U. S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his daughters, Jamie Lee Evans, North Carolina, Tanji Dulana Evans, North Carolina; mother, Helen Parson, Bedford; 4 grandchildren; siblings, Allen Ray Evans, Bedford, Deborah Leann Lee, Bedford
His father; brother, Ronald E. Evans; and granddaughter, Carrie, preceded him in death.
Cremation was chosen.

Anthony Jay Love, 57, of Orleans, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2016, at his residence.
Born May 16, 1958, in Salem, he was the son of Earl and Mary (Emmons) Love. He had been employed in auto body repair.
Survivors include his children, Joseph Love, Idaho, Jaimie Love, Idaho, Tiffany Crane, Bedford; 4 grandchildren; siblings, Carolyn Harris, Mitchell, Timothy Love, North Dakota
His parents and siblings, Billy Love, Harold Love, Margarie Phelps, and Norman Love, preceded him in death.
