Kenneth Staggs, 77, of Bedford, died at 11:15 a.m. on Thursday at his residence.

Kenneth C. Williams Jr. – Bedford
January 28, 1925 – February 11, 2016
Kenneth C. Williams Jr, 91, of Williams, died at 3:11 a.m. on Thursday, February 11, 2016, at IU Health Bedford.
Born January 28, 1925 in Martin County, Indiana, he was the son Kenneth Clyde Sr. and Agnes (Vandermay) Williams. He married Joanna (Hawkins) Williams on April 5, 1948 and she survives. He was a farmer and US Mail Carrier, retired. Kenneth was a graduate from Huron High School and had attended Purdue University. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. Kenneth was a member of the 39th Street Christian Church, White River Lodge NO. 332, F.&A.M., Scottish Rite of Indianapolis and Order of Eastern Star.
Surviving are his wife, Joanna; one daughter, Peggy (Anthony) Wildman of Shoals, IN; two sons, Curtis “Butch” Williams and Zelbert Williams both of Williams, IN; daughter-in-law, Cyndy Williams of Williams, IN; grandchildren, Lorie (Wildman) Canada (Mike Curry), Jeffrey David (Kristi) Williams and James Kurtis (Amber) Williams; great grandchildren, Jordan (Jenn) Canada, Jacob Canada, Tyler Williams, Kelton Williams, Jim Curry, Kaylea Mulder, Ryan Mulder and Madison Burkhead; five great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Ruth Compton of Pittsboro, IN and Vivian Spencer of Terre Haute, IN.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, James R. Williams; brother, Robert Williams.
Funeral service will be on Sunday, February 14, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home, with Kenny Dalton and Mike Hawkins officiating. Burial will be in Old Union Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday, 11:30 a.m. till 2 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to 39th Street Christian Church.

Essie Dell Blackwell, 86, of Heltvonville, passed away Wednesday night.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. till 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12, 2016 at Jones Funeral Home in Heltonville and from 11 a.m. to the time of service at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016 at Jones Funeral Home in Heltonville.
Carrie Ann Otto – Bedford
May 18, 1974 – February 7, 2016
Carrie Ann Otto, 41, of Bedford, formerly of Conesus, NY, died at 7:40 pm on Sunday, February 7, 2016 at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital.
Born May 18, 1974, in Dansville, NY, she was the daughter of Michael A. Collmer and Donna C. (LaBell) Hough. She married Robert Otto and he survives. She was a graduate of Dansville Central High School in New York with the class of 1992. She was a homemaker and a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include her husband, Robert, of Bedford; her mother, Donna (Robert) Hough of Conesus, NY; her father, Michael Collmer, of Bath, NY; six children, Joseph Otto, BobbieJoe Otto, Rebekah Otto, AnneMarie Otto and Robert John (Kierston) Otto all of Bedford and Jenniffer (Quinn) Kunberger of Oceanside, CA; brothers, Mathusale Collmer and Joshua (Leslie) Collmer both of Conesus, NY, Robert Hough, Jr. (Dwight) and James (Holly) Hough all of CA.
Memorial services will be conducted at 4 p.m. on Friday, February 12th at the Bedford Baptist Temple with Lyman Taylor officiating.

Wilma A. Roberts, 91, of Mitchell, passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2016, at Westview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Bedford.
Born February 24, 1924, in Bloomington, she was the daughter of Carl and Macy (Mercer) Hays. She married Donald L. Roberts July 4, 1954, and he preceded her in death January 7, 2008.
Wilma was loving mother, grandmother, and homemaker.
Survivors include her daughter, Sue (Danny) Compton of Mitchell; grandchildren, Julia Halligan, Ryan Gerkin, Angela Kirtley;4 step grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; sister, Katherine Cracraft, Ohio; brothers, Jim Hays, Las Vegas, Nevada, Joe Hays, Bloomington
Her parents; husband; and brothers, Vernon, Fred, Clarence, John, and Kenny Hays; and sister, Lucille Fields, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 13, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Burial will be in Crawford Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
