Linda Mae Lessig – Bedford
October 30, 1951 – December 10, 2015
Linda Mae Lessig, 64, of Bedford, died on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at her residence.
Born October 30, 1951 in Bedford, she was the daughter of Harold and Roberta (Chastain) Lessig. She worked for Mamma’s Restaurant for over 10 years and was a CNA at Dunn Memorial Hospital for over 29 years.
Survivors include; two sisters, Joyce Lessig of Bloomington and Juanita Gibson and husband Sean of Bedford, two nephews, Jeff Card and Harold Card and wife Mary, two great nieces Emeree Card and Gabriella Card, all of Bedford and two aunts, Betty Roach of Springville and Janet Miller of Romeoville, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be on Monday, December 14, 2015 from 4p.m. till 8 p.m. at the Day & Carter Mortuary. Linda has chosen cremation.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Green Hill Cemetery.
Beulah Margaret Armstrong – Williams
December 23, 1918 – December 11, 2015
Beulah Margaret Armstrong, 96, of Williams, died at 12:15 am on Friday, December 11, 2015 at Bliss Place.
Born December 23, 1918 in Daviess, County, IN, she was the daughter of Waldo Emerson and Beulah (Hobson) Spreen. She married Charles Cecil Armstrong on July 10, 1937 and he preceded her in death on September 8, 2007. Margaret was a member of the Bedford Free Methodist Church, Red Hat Society, Department Club, Ladies Bible Study, Daughters of American Revolution, Williams Home Demonstration Club, a self-employed real estate broker and had also been employed at Buck Lemon Furniture and Bedford Jr. High School
Survivor include a daughter, Jean Williams and husband, John of Bedford, two sons, James D. Armstrong of Williams, Carl D. Armstrong of Bloomington, two grandchildren, Lisa Williams Webb and husband Robert Alan of Bedford, John Williams, Jr. and wife Tracy (Faubion).
Bedford, four great grandchildren, Alex Webb and wife Olivia, Andrew Webb and wife Jordan, Liza Williams Gouty and husband A.J. and Margaret Williams, two great great grandchildren, River McCoy Webb and Benjamin Thomas Webb, one sister Betty Gore and husband Lowell of Williams, one brother, Perry Spreen of Sarasota, FL and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, Ben Spreen and Harold Spreen and two sisters Maeda Kern and Erma Rimmel.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at the Bedford Free Methodist Church with Pastor Reed Beard and Pastor John Lane officiating. Burial will follow in Williams Church of Christ Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, December 14, 2015 from 4 p.m.pm – 8 p.m. at the Day and Carter Mortuary and from Noon until the hour of the service on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at the church.
