Donald Terry – Bedford
Donald Terry, 77, of Bedford, died at 2:00 am on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at his residence.
Born January 31, 1938 in Lawrence Co., he was the son of John Eugene and Blanche (Edwards) Terry. He married Patricia Brooking on July 14, 1956 and she survives. He retired from Chase Bank and had worked at Extruded Alloy for twenty-two years. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing and woodworking.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia, of Bedford; his mother, Blanche, of Bedford; two sons, Dale Terry and Steve Terry both of Bedford; a granddaughter, Kelsi Terry, of Bedford; two grandsons, Kreg and Darren Terry both of Bedford; a brother, Ralph Terry, of Fairbanks, NC.
He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers, David and Phillip Terry.
Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 pm on Saturday, May 23rd in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Kenny Dalton officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until the hour of service on Saturday, May 23rd at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
