Robert Clifford Nilson – Mitchell
Robert Clifford Nilson, 85, of Mitchell, passed away at 11:53 p.m. Wednesday, February 4, 2015, at his residence.
January 6, 1930, in Bedford, he was the son of Griffin and Ola (Fleetwood) Nilson. He married Phyllis Ann Meadows November 27, 1954. He was self employed in construction. Robert was a U. S. Navy veteran of the Korean War and a 1947 graduate of Heltonville High School. He was a member of the Mitchell Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Survivors include his wife Phyllis Ann Nilson, of Mitchell; daughter Valencia Jo Nilson, of Mitchell.
His parents preceded him in death.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, February 8, at the Mitchell Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
