James Anthony Caraway – Bedford
James Anthony Caraway, 77, of Bedford, passed away at 5:40 p.m. Wednesday, October 1, 2014, at Garden Villa in Bedford.
Born July 14, 1937, in Lawrence County, he was the son of Othel and Phyllis (Brown)
Caraway. He was previously married to Betty Sons and she preceded him in death. His second marriage was to Andrea Yvonne Todd on July 7, 1979. He retired from Contech Construction Products and was a U. S. Air Force veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Andrea Caraway, Bedford; daughter, Jamie (Josh) Dotts, Mitchell; son, Mike Caraway, Bedford; grandchildren, Robby Caraway, Mark Caraway, Noah Dotts, Jay Dotts, Jamison Dotts, Daison Dotts; brothers, Vincent (Sue) Caraway, Kansas, Steve (Darlene) Caraway, Bedford, Charlie (Ann) Caraway, Bedford, Danny (Jenny) Scott, Bedford
His parents and first wife preceded him in death.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 6, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Brother Perry East officiating. Burial will be in Meadows Church of God Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday and from 9:30 a.m. until the service on Monday at the funeral home.
