Wilbur E. Briscoe, 91, passed away Friday morning at Mitchell Manor Living and Rehabilitation Center.

Beulah M. Bliss – Bedford
Beulah M. Bliss, 84, of Bedford, died at 3:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 24, 2014, at Core Nursing and Rehabilitation, Bedford.
Born March 7, 1930, in Detroit, MI, she was the daughter of Leo and Blanche (Applegate) Sonner. She married Billy R. Bliss on December 23, 1950; he died November 7, 1996. She was a graduate of New Amsterdam (IN) High School and was a homemaker. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Bedford; Order of Eastern Star, Solsberry Chapter; and the Women’s Dept. Club.
Surviving are her sons, Charles R. (Rebecca) Bliss, Bedford and Glenn W. Bliss, Bloomington; granddaughter, Elizabeth (Matthew) Martindale, Bloomington; grandson, Andrew W. Bliss, U.S. Air Force, Shreveport, LA; great grandson, Nicholas Martindale; and sister, Norma (Ted) Cotner, New Albany, IN.
She was preceded in death by parents and her husband.
Funeral service will be on Saturday, September 27, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home, Bedford, with Pastor Michelle White officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday, 4:00-8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the service hour at the funeral home.
