Nathan Allen Sykes – Mitchell
Nathan Allen Sykes, 34, of Mitchell, died Friday, August 8, 2014 at his residence.
Born February 15, 1980, he was the son of Chester and Jane (Miller) Sykes. He was a quarry stone mill worker with Rogers Group.
Survivors include his children, Brooke, Ashlynn, Katy and Shyann; siblings, Leon Sykes and wife, Terri, Dennis Sykes,
Kim Pannell and husband, Scott, Jeannie Blackwell and husband, Cecil, Shelly Johnson, Raymond Sykes and wife, Wanda, Ernie Sykes and wife, Marta, Jason Sykes and wife, Renee; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am on Tuesday, August 12th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Reno Bates officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery in Shoals, IN. Visitation will be from 2 pm to 8 pm on Monday, August 11th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
