Anita J. “Jody” Hawkins – Shoals
Anita J. “Jody” Hawkins, 73, of Shoals passed away at 12:03 a.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at Westview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Bedford.
Born on August 4, 1940 in French Lick, she was the daughter of Charles R. and Jessie Pauline (Crowder) Kirkland. Jody married Alvin L. Hawkins in Indianapolis, Indiana and he preceded her in death on July 4, 2013.
Jody graduated from Springs Valley High School and owned and operated Jodie’s Beauty Shop in West Baden, Indiana. She was a member of St. Mary of The Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Shoals and Knights of Columbus Auxiliary #732. “Grannie,” as she was affectionately know by her family was truly the heart of her family. She was foremost concerned about her children and grandchildren, and she loved them unconditionally. She was humble and giving and always willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed her at any hour of the day or night.
She is survived by one daughter, Teresa and husband Mark Wininger, of Shoals; one son Floyd “Lonnie” Hawkins and wife Kate, of Shoals; four grandchildren, Kyle and wife Raysah Wininger, Logan Wininger’ Jessie “Maelee” Hawkins and Josephine “Josie” Hawkins; two great grandchildren, Kemily Wininger and Kyle Wininger Jr; one sister Diane Norton, of French Lick.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Alvin and one brother Charles R. Kirkland Jr.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at the Queen-Lee Funeral Home in Shoals. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Friday at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Shoals. Burial will be made in Spring Hill Cemetery in Shoals.

Dwight Eugene Warren – Paoli
Dwight Eugene Warren, 53, of Paoli, passed away at 8:45 p.m. on Sunday, July 20, 2014, at IU Health Paoli Hospital.
Born December 7, 1960, in Washington, Indiana, he was the son of Richard Warren and Dora (Hopper) Sears. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and loved being outdoors.
Surviving are his mother, Dora Sears; one son, Dustin Warren; five sisters, Lisa Priddy, of Amelia, OH, Sandra Kimberlin, of Bedford, IN, Rebecca Treece, of Bedford, IN, Rachel Meyer, of Nebraska, and Cathy Vaske, of Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Warren; and one brother Timothy Warren.
Graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Crawford Cemetery.

Jack Edward Reynolds – Mitchell

Jack Edward Reynolds, 75, of Mitchell, passed away at 10:55 a.m. Monday, July 21, 2014, at Mitchell Manor Living and Rehabilitation Center.
Born July 20, 1939, in Mitchell, he was the son of John Edward and Savannah LaVerne (Enochs) Reynolds. He was first married to Wanda Sue Flick and his second marriage was to Audrey V. Kopka November 26, 1974. She preceded him in death April 8, 2008. Jack had been employed at Mi-Lin Wood Products in Paoli and was a member of the Wesleyan Church.
Survivors include his fiancée, Lillian Wininger, Mitchell; children, Deborah Buetel, Orleans, John Edward Reynolds, Paoli, Mike Reynolds, Paoli; stepson, Richard Flick, Florida; grandchildren, Lisa, Kathy, April, Steve, and John III; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Phyllis Foster, Mitchell; brother, Larry J. Reynolds, Bluffton
His parents; wife; and siblings, Norma Jean Graham, Barbara Reynolds, and Bill Reynolds; and a niece, preceded him in death.
Funeral service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 24, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Reverend Jerry Richardson officiating. Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Mitchell Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. until the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
