Mary K. Allen – Mitchell
Mary K. Allen, 82, of Mitchell, passed away at 4:12 p.m. on Thursday May 22, 2014 at Stonebridge Health Campus in Bedford.
She was born in Bedford on June 1, 1931 to Spencer Thomas & Pansy (Lee) Thomas. She was a graduate of Bedford High School and retired from the Ford Motor Company, she was a member of Mitchell First Church of God. Mary married Kenneth Allen on December 6, 1999 and he survives.
Survivors include her husband: Kenneth Allen of Mitchell, 3 daughters: Pam Pinto of Bedford, Tina (Tim) Earl of Williams, Gina (Randy) Hembree of Bloomington; sons: Gary (Liane) Johnson of Springville, Tom (Sondra) Johnson of Columbus, Brad (Kim) Johnson of Owensville, Brother: Spencer A. Thomas of Indianapolis; sister: Sue Chastain of Bedford; 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Spencer & Pansy Thomas, Brothers, George Sheldon & Phillip Sheldon
Funeral Services will be held on Monday May 26, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the First Church of God in Mitchell
Friends may call on Sunday May 25, 2014 from 4p.m. until 8 p.m. at Cresthaven Funeral Home, and on Monday from 10 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in Cresthaven Memory Gardens
