Jay D. Blackwell, 73, passed away at 5:17 a.m. Friday at Indiana University Health Bloomington Hospital.

Elizabeth M. Duncan, 87, of Mitchell, passed away at 12:50 p.m. Thursday, April 10, at Mitchell Manor Living and Rehabilitation Center.

Maxine Rose Dalton – Pinhook
Maxine Rose Dalton, 86, of Pinhook, passed away at 1:40 a.m. on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital, Bedford.
Born November 19, 1927 in Lawrence County, Indiana, she was the daughter of Raymond and Elizabeth (Cummings) Fish.
She married Bobby G. Dalton on June 21, 1947; and he preceded her in death on February 28, 2000. She was a graduate of Shawswick High School, Class of 1945. She retired from the Hoosier National Forestry Service. She attended Pinhook Christian Church.
Surviving are one son, Emmett (Carolyn) Dalton; three daughters, Muriel Evans, Lois (John) Guthrie, and Abby (Gary) Flynn; two brothers, Gordon Fish and Dave Fish; four sisters, June Roberts, Colleen Robbins, Patsy Wever, and Wanda McPike; ten grandchildren, Julia Thomas, Michael Dalton, Joe Evans, Keyla Lindell, Katie Guthrie, Wyatt Guthrie, Hanna Tipton, and Carrie Guthrie; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son-in-law, Phil Evans, and one sister Rhea Dawn.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2014, at 10 a.m. at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home, with Kenny Dalton officiating. Burial will be in Pinhook Cemetery.Friends may call on Friday, April 11, 2014, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Sharon R. Dyson – Leesburg, VA.
Sharon R. Dyson, 73, formerly of Huron, passed away at 7: 45 p.m. Saturday, April 5, 2014, at Heritage Hall in Leesburg, VA.
Born October 23, 1940, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Lloyd and Lillian (King) Bridges. Sharon was a caseworker for 27 years for the Division of Family and Children, State of Indiana. She graduated from Huron High School in 1958 and Indiana University in 1963. She was a member of the Huron Baptist Church and a former member of the White River Humane Society. She had been a member of the singing group, Belles of Indiana.
Survivors include her son, Christopher W. Dyson, Fremont, California daughter, Lee Anne (Michael J.) Philbin, Potomac Falls, Virginia
Her parents; brother, Donald L. Bridges; and infant sister, Marilyn June Bridges, preceded her in death.
Graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, April 13, at Clark Cemetery with Reverend Ron Allender officiating. Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday at Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center.
