Danny Ellis – Bedford
Danny Ellis, 88, passed away at 4:20 a.m. Tuesday, April 8, at White River Lodge. Funeral arrangements are pending at Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center.
Hillary N. Deckard – Bedford

Hillary N. Deckard, 27, of Bedford, died at 2:16 pm on Saturday at her residence.
Born June 23, 1986 in Bloomington, she was the daughter of Steven and Bridget (Nicholson) Deckard. Hillary was engaged to William Boler and he survives. She graduated from BNL High School in 2004 and was employed at Golden Corral.
Survivors include her fiancé, William Boler; two daughters, Kenzley Ann and Karley Jane; parents, Steven and Bridget (Nicholson) Deckard; a sister, Sara Deckard and fiance, Ron Haynes; grandparents, Bob and Debbie Lichtefeld of Bedford, and Clyde and Sherry Deckard of Unionville; a great-grandmother, Betty Hunter; an aunt, Natalie Lichtefeld and fiancé Leland Foley; a nephew, Cade Tillett; William’s parents, Debbie Drake and Kevin Ramage; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am on Wednesday, April 9th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in the Beech Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 pm to 8 pm on Tuesday, April 8th at Day & Carter Mortuary.

Kathryn Deckard – Bedford
Kathryn Deckard, 80, of Martinsville, died at 8:20 am on Monday, April 07, 2014 at Stonebridge Health Campus in Bedford.
Born November 28, 1933 in Martin Co., IN, she was the daughter of Russell A. and Georgeann (Curran) Smoot. She married Herschel Deckard on January 22, 1949 and he survives. She retired from RCA in 1987 after thirty years of service. She attended Valley Mission Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include her husband, Herschel, of Martinsville; two daughters, Connie Lane and husband, Marty, of
Mitchell and Bonnie Spinks and husband, Rick, of Bedford; one grandson Jeff Harrell of Bedford; one granddaughter,
Kayla Lane of Mitchell; four great grandchildren; one sister, Anna Turner.
She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 am on Thursday, April 10th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in Hanson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 pm to 8 pm on Wednesday, April 9th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
