Dorothy M. Spears – Bedford
Dorothy Moore Spears, 79, of Standish Steel Road. died at 6:59 a.m. on Friday, March 28, 2014 at the IU Health Bedford Hospital.
Born September 13, 1934 in Springville, IN she was the daughter of Ollie Moore and Flora Smith Moore Krenke. She married Russell Spears and he preceded her in death on March 10, 2003. Dorothy was a hard working lady. She enjoyed many dedicated years at AT&T making telephones in Indianapolis. After retiring she and herhusband Russel enjoyed 17 years of farming together.
Survivors include one son: Michael Dale Spears and his wife Lori of Indianapolis; two grandsons: Mark Allen Spears, II, and Dillon Spears both of Indianapolis; two great granddaughters: Haley and Madison Spears of Indianapolis; two sisters: Delpha Brown and her husband onnie of Lower Leesville Road, and Jan Krenke Southern and her husband Tom of Oxford, OH; her beloved little dog “Two”; several nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers and sisters in law , and many friends from Indianapolis, Leesville, and Bedford, IN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her step father, Ralph Krenke, her husband Russell, one son, Mark Allen Spears, three brothers: David E. Moore, Dale H. Moore, and Danny W. Moore.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 2nd in the Elmwood Chapel of Day
& Carter Mortuary with Bro. Bob Phillips officiating. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 pm on Wednesday
at the Floral Park Cemetery 425 North Holt Road Indianapolis, IN 46222. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 1st at Day & Carter Mortuary.

Rosalie Frances Terry – Bedford
Rosalie Frances Terry, 76, of Bedford, died at 9:35 am on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Westview Nursing and Rehab.
Born January 6, 1938 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Ralph Leland and Doris Grace (Williams) Harris. She married Roy Terry on October 11, 1957 and he survives. She was a homemaker and member of the Crossroads Community Church.
Survivors include her husband, Roy, of Bedford; two sons, David Terry and wife, Christy and John Terry and wife, Jodi all of Bedford; a daughter, Melissa Kalber and husband,George, of Bedford; five grandchildren, Tyler Kalber and wife, Kendra of Owensburg, Katie Terry, Alex Kalber,Caroline Terry and Brooke Terry all of Bedford; one great grandson, Kyten Kalber of Owensburg; a brother, George Henry Harris of Williams.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Patrick Terry; a sister, Mildred Smith; three brothers, Don, Wayne and Ralph “Smitty” Harris.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Tuesday, April 1st at Crossroads Community Church with Pastor Ken Ransom officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 pm to 8 pm on Monday, March 31st at Crossroads Community Church. The family asks that friends consider memorial
contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Assoc.
