Eleanor Price
Eleanor Price, 73, of Bedford, died at 11:15 a.m. on Monday at her residence.
Born Sept. 16, 1939, in Phoenix, Ariz., she was the daughter of Hilbert and Ruth (Pinnick) Potts.
She married Jim Price on March 7, 1959, and he preceded her in death on March 29, 2009 after 50 years of marriage.
She graduated from Oolitic High School with the Class of 1957. She was a member of the Tabernacle of Praise Church, and a homemaker.
Survivors include her daughter: Lynette Greene and her husband Lynn of Heltonville; two granddaughters: Lynessa and Lynnae Greene both of Heltonville; four brothers: Gerald “Bud” Potts of Bloomington, Larry Potts of Granite City, Mo., Frank Potts of Ocoee, Tenn., Steve Potts of Bedford; one sister: Mary “Kitty” May of Bedford; several nieces and nephews; her best friend of over 60 years: Twanette Seidle of Bedford. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one brother in infancy.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Friday at the Tabernacle of Praise, with Pastor Gary Thomas officiating.
Burial will follow in the Owensburg Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Tabernacle of Praise.

Shirley A. Medlock Murrell, 76, Salem, died June 20 at Salem Crossing. Private graveside services were conducted at the Crown Hill Cemetery in Salem.
Iva Lee Bianchi
In celebration of Iva Lee Bianchi’s life, there will be a graveside service on Thursday at 10 a.m. at Clover Hill Cemetery in Harrodsburg.
Linda Ann Hatch
Linda Ann Incollingo Hatch, 73, Apple Valley, Calif., died Monday at her home in the presence of her family. Local funeral arrangements are pending at Day & Carter Mortuary in Bedford.
