Marilyn M. Cauble – Mitchell
Marilyn M. Cauble, 77, passed away at 2:43 p.m. Thursday, May 30, 2013, at IU Health Bloomington Hospital.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, June 3, at Mitchell Cemetery.
Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center is in charge of the arrangements.
Lexie R. Holtsclaw Sr. – Bedford
Lexie R. Holtsclaw, Sr. age 73 of Bedford, passed away on Tuesday May 28, 2013 at 4:04 pm at IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington.
He was born on January 26, 1940 in Dugger, Indiana to Robert Preston & Orzella Mabel Holtsclaw. Lexie married Donna Gentry on February 14, 1959 at Mt. Pleasant Christian Church in Bedford and she survives. Lexie was a Tool & Die Maker at General Motors in Bedford, & was a supervisor at General Motors when he retired, after retiring from GM he continued to work many more years as a Tool & Die Maker at D & M Tool in Bedford, Bedford Machine & Tool, & Bedford Recycling. He was a member of the Bedford Masonic Lodge F &AM #14, Scottish Rite of Indianapolis, Member of the Lawrence County Cattleman’s Association & member of the Mt. Pleasant Christian Church.
Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Donna Holtsclaw of Bedford; three sons; Scott Holtsclaw and wife Tracy of Bedford, Lexie Holtsclaw, Jr. and wife Tammy of Bedford,Tom Harrell and wife Beth of Bedford; grandchildren; Brooke and husband Cha) Teague, Brittany nd husband Shile Anderson, Blair and husband Anthony Taylor, Courtney Holtsclaw, Kennedy Holtsclaw, Josh Harrell, Aaron Harrell, Nate and Hillary Norman; Great Grandchildren; Hadley, Campbell and Crete Teague, Nadia and Zane Anderson, Remington Lex Taylor; one brother; Jerry L. Holtsclaw and wife Carol of Oolitic.
Lexie was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Debra Lynn Holtsclaw, one daughter-in-law; Polly (Wagoner) Holtsclaw; two sisters, Dorothy Armstrong, and Mary Jane Price, three brothers, Ernie W. Holtsclaw, James E. Holtsclaw, and Robert P. Holtsclaw, Jr.
Memorial Services will be held on Sunday June 2, 2013 at 5 pm at Mt. Pleasant Christian Church in Bedford. Friends may call on Sunday from 4 pm until service time at 5 pm at the church.
In lieu of Flowers donations can be made to Mt, Pleasant Church.
Cresthaven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
