Roger Lee “Sawdust” Prince – Leesville
Roger Lee “Sawdust” Prince, 70, of Leesville, IN, passed away at 2:03 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2013, at IU Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born November 6, 1942 in Monroe County, IN, he was the son of Curtis and Hazel (Hillenburg) Prince. He married Judy Knight on May 6, 1961, who passed away on November 22, 2005. He married Marnice Fender on June 4, 2006, who passed away on June 25, 2012. He retired from Elliott Limestone Company in 1999, was a partner in Prince Water Service, and was a carrier for The Times Mail until June 2012. He was an ordained minister and a member of the Gospel Assembly Church of Bloomington, IN.
Surviving him are three daughters: Marilee (George) Atteberry of Avoca, IN; Sandy (Brian) Hazelip of Grandview, IN; and Susan Deckard of Freedom, IN; two sons: Brian (Kelli) Prince of Bedford, IN; and Brent Prince of Bedford, IN; one step-daughter, Stephanie Fender and her companion Mark Perry of Spencer, IN; 19 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; one brother, Leonard Prince of Bloomington, IN, and four sisters: Lois (Edgar) Kidd of Bloomington, IN; Bernice (Heinz) Minartz of Cloverdale, IN; Gledia (David) Greene of Bloomington, IN; Roberta Kelley of Ellettsville, IN; and one brother-in-law, Bennie (Linda) Knight of Bloomington, IN.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Judy Prince, and his second wife, Marnice Prince, two brothers, Robert Prince and Delmas Prince; one granddaughter, Shelby Lynn Hazelip, and one great-grandson, Adam Gerald Deckard.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 20, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home, with Pastor Cary Cohenour officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery in Monroe County, IN.

Jonathon D. Shepherd – Bloomington
Jonathon D. Shepherd, 22, of Bloomington, went home to be with the Lord at 8:40 a.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at his residence.
Born October 17, 1990 in Bloomington, Indiana, he was the son of Timothy C. Shepherd and Brenda Collins. He was a graduate of Lawrence North High School, Indianapolis, and was of the Pentecostal faith.
Surviving are his father, Timothy C. Shepherd of Bloomington; mother, Brenda Collins (Step-father: Gary Myers) of Bedford; biological father, Matt Grubb of Bloomington; biological mother, Tracy Smith of Bedford; three brothers, Anthony, Cody and Gage Grubb; four sisters, Jessica, Meranda, Janielle Grubb and Danielle Martin; uncle, Andy Smith; aunt, Kim Roll, paternal grandmother, Linda Grubb of Bloomington, and numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death: maternal grandfather, Danny Smith; Paternal grandfather, John Grubb; two aunts, Dena and Tina Smith
Funeral service will be on Monday, May 20, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home, with Rev. Don Gardner Officiating. Burial will be in Garrison Chapel Cemetery in Bloomington. Friends may call on Monday, 12-2:00 at the funeral home.
