Daisy Meehan – Mitchell
Daisy Meehan, 87, passed away at 8:45 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at Medco Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in French Lick.
Born October 28, 1925, in Dubois County she was the daughter of Harry and Margaret (Trambaugh) Nicholson. She married William Ernest Meehan January 10, 1948, and he preceded her in death September 21, 1993. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her daughters, Wilma Morgan and husband, Joe, Mitchell, Brenda Neal and companion, Lenny Jones, Orleans, Norma Hensley, Bedford,Netha Radcliff, French Lick; grandchildren, Steve Neal, Jeremy Hensley, and Ashley Lopez; several great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and siblings, Cora Stephens, Sophia Nicholson, Mary Nicholson, Dora Nicholson, Leona Nicholson, Elmer Nicholson, Walter Nicholson, Wesley Nicholson, John Nicholson, and Clyde Nicholson.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 23, at Haverly Funeral Chapel & Cremation with Pastor John Moffatt officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
