The following obituaries were received for Sunday –


Charles L. (Lin) Woodard – Bedford
Charles L. (Lin) Woodard age 85 of Bedford, passed away on Friday, November 30, 2012 at his residence.
Born in St. Charles, Virginia, He was the son of Lawrence Dee and Ida Betty (Napier) Woodard. Charles worked in coal mines and logging in Virginia, coming to Indiana, he worked at Nehi Bottling Co. and General Motors in Indianapolis. He retired from GM in 1992 and moved to Bedford shortly after retiring, He was a member of the Christian Church and an U.S. Army Veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Blanche E. (Gardner) Woodard. He is also survived by a daughter, Sandra Burkhart and husband Eddie; two sons, Charles Ray Woodard and wife Valerie and Michael Woodard and wife Billie Jo; and a step-son, Jimmy Hall; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 6 siblings.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday December 3, at Cresthaven Funeral Home. Friends may call on Sunday December 2 from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Cresthaven Funeral Home. Burial be in Old Union Cemetery in Fayetteville, with graveside rites by American Legion Post #33.

F. Lowell Stailey – Bedford

F. Lowell Stailey, 71, of Bedford passed away at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at St. Vincent Heart Center in Carmel.
Born January 21, 1941 in Oolitic, he was the son of Jesse and Pearl (Moore) Stailey. He married Ruthie Lynn on August 3, 1959 and she survives. He retired as a millwright in the skilled trades department at General Motors in Bedford. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Bedford Elks Lodge, Bedford Masonic Lodge #14 F & AM, Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis and the Shriners International.
Survivors include his wife, Ruthie, of Bedford; a son, Mike Stailey and wife Debbie, of Greenwood; a daughter, Julie D’Alesio and husband Fred, of Sausalito, CA; two sisters, Ruth Plummer and Jeanne Speer and husband Fred, all of Bedford; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 4th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Dr. Kregg Burris officiating. Cremation will follow. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, December 3rd at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
The family asks that friends consider memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Assoc.
